Residential-recreational area LODENICA is situated in the south part of the spa town of Piešťany, on plains formerly used for orchards. The main entrance is from the Recreant Street; on its opposite side are located recreational facilities connecting the River Váh and lake Sĺňava with a water sport area (sailing, canoeing, boating, water-skiing) and an extensive bike/roller-skate ring around the lake.
Connection with the nature is intensified by views of the Malé Karpaty Mountain ridge on the other side of the
River Váh and spacious parks of the city and spa island.
The Lodenica area is conveniently accessible by public transport; connections to the motorway and the airport are near.
